Anime Rules!!

#anime

Anime is an abbreviation for the word animation. For over a couple of decades, anime was solely made for, and in Japan. It's not just about the artwork, but the storytelling, the themes, and the concepts behind it. Over the last forty years or so, it has become an international phenomenon, attracting millions of fans. It has been translated into multiple different languages for millions of people all over the world to watch. Many people have grown up watching anime and has passed it down to their children for generations.

Anime is NOT just one whole kind of genre, lumped in together. Just like books, movies, music, and countless others, anime falls into infinite numbers of styles such as fantasy, heartwarming, comedy, romance, fiction, drama, sci-fi, action-adventure, horror/gore, etc.

No matter how you look at it, anime is a type of cartoon in a way. Just like some cartoons, anime isn't necessarily just aimed at children. Its primary focus may be on teenagers, adults and many other types of people in different age groups. Some may include dark themes and gory scenes, such as Attack on Titan or Tokyo Ghoul. While others are bright and lighthearted, such as No Game No Life or One-Punch Man. The only main difference is that anime is considered a Japanese style of cartoons in the West. Most dictionaries also happen to define anime as "a Japanese style of motion-picture animation" or as "a style of animation developed in Japan." All in all, anime is technically just considered a Japanese style cartoon (even if the art is way better and the concept of it too). All in all, anime is just a cartoon for audiences of all ages and is highly recommended, because... 'ANIME RULEZ'!!!!
