Last week, Facebook experienced a massive hack. The security system says that roughly fifty million people were affected by this issue. The hack went on for about eleven days before Facebook finally addressed the issue. According to CNN, officials said that the code was vulnerable and was easily able to attack. The hackers were able to go to other people's profiles and steal their personal information. For example, they could look at their account and blackmail that person by posting all their info. The problem was later solved when the Facebook CEO created a more sophisticated code than the simple one it originally had. There are also questions that haven't been answered yet, such as how long the hackers were in the account, and whether they took the info from any account. Whether or not Facebook will answer these questions, is still relatively unknown.
