What will happen if you only drank water every single day (excluding meals)? I know, I know. You might think "No way I would do such a thing," or "I'm going to starve!" Drinking water every single day without the three main meals is actually called water fasting. Even though this is incredible, it can be done.
When you water fast, your body can't get any access to carbohydrates; the body's only source of energy is stored fats. This means that you will lose roughly a pound a day. It's just if you want to lose weight. This also decreases inflammation in your body. That means when you injure an area, like your knee, your injury can recover faster. Your blood also doesn't fluctuate as much compared to a regular body.
Most importantly, it relieves stress and reduces the aging process. A typical fast is between 5 to 14 days. Some fasted up to 45 days, which was extreme.
